Software for the place people actually live
LocalePM is a private community platform for apartment buildings, condos, and HOAs. It connects verified residents, the managers who keep the building running, and the boards who govern it — on one shared record, with one set of permissions.
Why we built it
Most buildings run on a stack nobody chose: a paper package log at the front desk, a maintenance inbox only one person reads, a spreadsheet of unit owners, a messaging group half the residents left, and a filing cabinet of meeting minutes. Each part works. Together they lose things — a package, a repair, a vote, a resident's trust.
The cost of that fragmentation lands unevenly. Residents feel it as not knowing whether anyone read their request. Managers feel it as re-entering the same fact in four places. Boards feel it as governing without a reliable record of what actually happened. None of those is obviously a software problem on its own, which is part of why they went unsolved for so long.
LocalePM replaces the seams rather than any one of the tools. A maintenance request is a ticket, a cost line, and an entry in the building's history at the same time, because it is one record seen from three angles.
What we believe
Verified, or not at all
Every resident on a LocalePM building is verified against the unit they actually live in. A community platform anyone can join is a message board; verification is what makes a private directory, a package log, and a governance vote mean anything.
One platform, three audiences
Residents, on-site managers, and elected boards want different things from the same building. Rather than three disconnected tools, LocalePM gives each group its own surface over one shared record — so a maintenance request, its cost, and its vote all refer to the same event.
Buildings are not spreadsheets
Package shelves overflow, boilers fail on holiday weekends, and the board meets on a Tuesday. We build for how buildings actually run — dense operational screens for the people doing the work, and a calm mobile app for everyone else.
Privacy is the product
A resident directory is sensitive by definition. Data is scoped to a single building at every layer — application, database, and row-level security — and residents choose what the directory shows. We do not sell resident data.

Residents use a mobile app; managers and boards use a web dashboard. Both read and write the same building record.

Who we are
LocalePM is built and operated by LoftyBits Technologies. We are a small, product-led team, and we work directly with the managers and board members who use what we ship — the fastest way we know to build software for a domain we are not living in every day.
